An enquiry that arrives on WhatsApp is answered immediately, from the business’s own facts, prices and rules — and can be handed to a person together with everything said so far.
Enquiries do not arrive during office hours. They arrive at ten at night, at the weekend, and in the middle of serving somebody else. A small business that advertises gets enquiries it cannot answer in time, and an enquiry that waits a few hours is worth less than one answered immediately — because in those hours the sender has already written to three competitors.
- KNOWS
Only what is in the business’s fact sheet
What is sold, in what price range, what is out of stock, opening hours, and the answers to the questions that keep coming back. Behaviour is changed in plain language — “stop offering X” takes effect without a developer.
- NEVER
Promises what was not approved
Delivery times, guaranteed outcomes, discounts. It does not invent information that is not in the fact sheet. And it does not deny being an automated responder — asked directly, it says so.
By rules you set: an explicit request to speak to a person, a subject flagged as sensitive, a complaint, or a conversation that has reached somewhere the fact sheet does not cover. The handover carries what was said up to that point, so the sender does not tell the story twice.
It also knows which ad the conversation came from, which is what lets the report say what closed from what — not just how many enquiries arrived.
- A business WhatsApp number that can be connected, and that is not currently used for personal conversations.
- Real answers about products and prices. A representative that does not know, evades.
- A person available to step into a conversation handed to them.
- A decision about what may never be promised to a customer.
Does it answer like a robot?
The style is set when the character is written, and tested against real conversations in the first days — when every conversation is read by a person and corrections go in immediately.
Can it be switched off?
Yes, and you can also set hours where only a person answers.
What happens to our number?
It stays yours.
See it on a real conversation
On the scoping call, not in a deck.
