What each stage includes, and what it produces
Each service below says the same four things: what it covers, what you get at the end of it, where our responsibility ends, and who does the part we do not. The last of those is the one most sourcing pages leave out.
01Factory sourcing and negotiation
- Covers Finding candidate manufacturers for the product, separating a manufacturer from a trading company, background checks, and running the commercial negotiation
- You get An English specification, a comparison table with a stated reason for every rejection, and a background-check file
- Ends at A verified supplier and agreed terms. A background check is a check, not a guarantee of future conduct
02Product development and sampling
- Covers Turning a definition into a manufacturable product, through sample rounds, including packaging
- You get A signed, approved sample, kept as the reference point every later shipment is measured against
- Ends at The approved sample. A design we did not originate is not something we can warrant the originality of
03Production and quality control
- Covers A written inspection standard agreed before production starts, and an inspection by our own people in China before the container is sealed
- You get An inspection report with measurements and photographs, before the final payment is made
- Ends at Our own inspection. Laboratory testing is done by an external laboratory; we are not a laboratory and not a certifying body
04Import into Israel
- Covers Full landed-cost calculation, choosing sea or air, checking the shipping documents before they are issued, coordinating clearance, and warehousing
- You get A cost structure you can price from, and documents checked before an error in them becomes expensive
- Ends at Coordination. The forwarder ships, a licensed customs broker clears, and the binding customs classification is the Israel Tax Authority’s
05Brand and launch
- Covers Name, packaging, photography, product page, campaign and measurement — delivered through FOLO ADS
- You get A product that can be sold rather than only received
- Ends at What is in the campaign’s control. Paid campaigns are run for the Israeli market; for another market the build work travels and the media buying does not
